GFP Weekly Update
June 18, 2008
Hey there two-steppers --
Well, as the weather warms up, that can only mean one thing -- we're planning on vacating our un-air-conditioned space until cooler weather returns. We've got one more dance for you first, though. This Saturday is GFP's Season Finale (details below). It also is GFP's Annual Meeting where we elect our new Board. Beforehand at 6:00, the board will get together to talk over the year and think about what directions we may want to go next year. Got some ideas? Want to just listen in? Stop by and join us. Free pizza for all those attending!
And what would a Season Finale be without a big production number? So, we've got the fabulous Manhattan Prairie Dogs up here just especially to perform for us. It's been a full year since they've been up to visit us and they're getting here just in time! I'm looking forward to it as a splashy ending to a great season.
And as a final note, you don't need to mope about not getting to dance all summer. Randolph Country Club reopened in the nick of time and the Thursday night dances are back in action. Check out the details below.
Hope to see you out dancing soon!

GFP, INCORPORATED ANNUAL MEETING
Our annual meeting will take place at on Saturday, June 21 during the dance. Right before, at 5 PM is the last Board Meeting of the year where we'll assess this past season and do some key organizing for next year. We'd love to hear your opinions and ideas. We'll even serve you pizza! This year, we're not only encouraging everyone to attend; we're asking you to really consider coming and giving your input about this past year and for the next. Everyone on the current board -- Janet (president), John H. (secretary), Carolann (treasurer), and Michael B. (member at large) -- is willing to continue to serve for another year. We have a great time together but can always expand the "family"!
